The New Britain Museum of American Art (NBMAA) and Delamar West Hartford, located in West Hartford, Connecticut, have entered into an exciting new partnership, which will bring key works from the Museum’s collection to the hotel in two forthcoming exhibitions. The first presentation, which opened on September 12, East & West Coast Cool: American Art, 1960s to Now, comprises works by iconic American Pop artists Jim Dine, Robert Indiana, Ed Ruscha, Andy Warhol, Tom Wesselmann, and others, and explores the radical spirit of the 1960s and subsequent decades through vivid Pop Art imagery.
