Adult Comic Illustration Class

Join a museum educator for this introductory course on comic illustration. Students will learn the fundamentals of illustration, as well as how to consider storytelling in your art. 2025 MattaTrek

Join us for our 3rd Annual MattaTrek Challenge! Venture forth with Director Bob Burns as he hikes the Litchfield Hills, or join us on Saturday, May 10th on our final 5k hike at the White Memorial Conservation Center in Litchfield! Friday, May 9 Through-hike begins at the Cornwall Bridge following the Mohawk Trail for 23.5 miles to Housatonic Valley Regional High School. Remarkable animals from the Bruce’s natural history collections are paired with scale landscape models that showcase Alaska’s diverse ecosystem. The installation highlights both subtle and dramatic shifts occurring across the Alaskan landscape, bringing attention to the impact of rising temperatures.
