Experiment with Ruth Root’s multi-layered process by creating and then deconstructing an artwork. Paint multiple images using watercolor and tempera, then, when they are dry, cut and construct them to compose a new work of art.
Visit The Aldrich during school holidays for exhibition- related and seasonal hands-on art-making in the Education Center. Join our experienced art educators for facilitated activities, and discover new materials, learn innovative techniques, and make something inspired! Children of all ages are welcome, but must be accompanied by an adult. Free for members, free with Museum admission.
