Afternoon Tea at Ireland’s Great Hunger Museum

Ireland’s Great Hunger Museum will host an afternoon tea outside on the museum lawn on August 20 at 1 p.m. Guests will be served various teas, finger sandwiches, small plates and desserts. A harpist will provide ambiance for an enjoyable afternoon with friends.

Nature’s Royal Tea Party, a children’s book will be available for sale. All profits go directly to the museum.

Lucky Ewe, Hamden’s Irish gift shop, will be on hand with a display of Solvar Irish jewelry, which will be available for purchase. The shop also will sponsor a raffle for a necklace from the collection.

Join us for a fun and festive afternoon! Tickets for this unique event are $45 and should be purchased online in advance by clicking the button below. Tables of eight may be reserved at at discounted rate of  $325 by calling 203-582-6500. Dress is summer tea party attire (hats encouraged!).
