Amphibian Amble-FULL
On one of our favorite nights of the year, we’ll head up to the vernal pools to see if we can catch “salamander rain”— the evening when salamanders emerge from their winter sleep to begin to lay eggs. Using nets, we’ll scoop for amphibians and invertebrates, and learn what makes a vernal pool such a special habitat. Each adult and child participant requires a ticket. Limited to 16 participants.
