Solstice Night Hike

Welcome the winter season with a casual hike in our forest. We’ll look and listen for winter animals, identify some winter constellations, and perhaps even catch some early meteors from this year’s Ursid showers. Meets at the Overbrook Nature Center. American Mural Project Extends Its Family-Day Programming To Weekends throughout September

The American Mural Project (AMP) has extended its Family Day programming to weekends through September 29. Families can now participate in art activities any time during open hours. All art activities are included with admission. This month’s activities include Making Art with Fire: Fire Tiles and making Fire Prevention posters. Vacation Drop-Off Day: Ice & Snow

Vacation Drop-Off Day: Ice & Snow Monday, December 23 Ages 5 – 9 9:30 am – 12 pm Limited to 12 children Discover the science of ice and snow! Race to melt ice, make your own snow, and enjoy all kinds of winter fun around Heckscher Farm and beyond! Meets at Heckscher Barn. Must be of age by date of program. Please pack a peanut/tree nut free snack and water, and dress for outside/messy play. Members: $45/day/child Non-Members: $50/day/child REGISTER
