What to Expect:
Expert Demonstration: David and Teresa will showcase their expertise as they meticulously restore and preserve our Impressionist masterpieces right before your eyes. Learn about the delicate techniques and careful considerations involved in conserving these invaluable works of art. David and Teresa will perform their work in our Glass Room while you will be able to watch from outside, creating a “fishbowl” effect.
Interactive Learning: This is a unique opportunity to gain insights into the conservation process, which usually takes place behind the scenes and is not accessible to the general public. Discover the challenges faced by conservators and the innovative methods employed to safeguard artistic heritage for future generations.
Rare Opportunity: Witness the transformation as these paintings are brought back to their former glory by removing layers of discoloration and dirt that have accumulated over decades and restoring their original vibrant colors.
