Art Explorers
Art Explorers with Suzy Balay
Students learn to express their creativity using varied art methods and materials to create personal works of art inspired by Museum pieces. Explore a different area of the collection with new projects each week. Art Explorers is led by artist Suzy Jorsey Balay, who received her B.F.A. from Paier College of Art. Suzy is a fiber artist who spins wool by hand, knits, and sews. She has been a dedicated teacher of Art Explorers for a number of years and continues to create engaging lessons for children.

Ages 6-8
Drop-in students are welcome.
Admission
$7 per class Members; $9 per class non-Members.
(Scholarships are available for New Britain students.)
No charge for chaperones, who must remain in the building.
