In this After-School program, we’ll explore a variety of art forms that use or depict motion. Explore the mobile art of Alexander Calder and others, the abstract art of Jackson Pollack and Wassily Kandinsky, and the movement shown in Starry, Starry Night by Van Gogh. Participants will get to create a mobile using recycled materials, paint a canvas inspired by Van Gogh’s distinct style, use paintballs and brushes to splatter a Pollack-inspired piece, and form a work with their own…
