Longtime residents of Norwich and surrounding communities fondly remember the annual Slater Artisan Craft Show at the Slater Memorial Museum. The high-quality products by Connecticut artists were eagerly purchased as gifts or treasured personal items. The museum is pleased to announce the return of its artisan craft show! Art Adventures: Recyclable Art

Participants will give scrap paper a new life by recycling and creating an Earth Day-inspired garland! Art Adventures is a drop-in program designed for children aged four and up and their families. This program is free with general admission and no advanced registration is required. Join us in the Cohen Education Wing.

American Mural Project Extends Its Family-Day Programming To Weekends throughout September

The American Mural Project (AMP) has extended its Family Day programming to weekends through September 29. Families can now participate in art activities any time during open hours. All art activities are included with admission. This month’s activities include Making Art with Fire: Fire Tiles and making Fire Prevention posters.
