World War I Digitization Day

Snow date: February 10

In conjunction with the exhibition Patriotic Persuasion, the Bruce Museum will host a World War I Digitization Day organized by the Connecticut State Library.

Connecticut residents are invited to bring in their photos, letters and other keepsakes from World War I for digitization. The digital images and stories collected at the events will be added to the State Library’s online archive and made freely accessible for public use.

Usually, visitors bringing their photos, letters, etc. will work with a digitization expert for about one hour. For more information, see: http://ctinworldwar1.org/digitization-days/faq/

Digitization contributors and their families will receive free museum admission.
