The Cool School: The Story of the Ferus Art Gallery

Narrated by Academy Award Nominee Jeff Bridges, The Cool School tells the story of Los Angeles’s Ferus Art Gallery, its proprietors Walter Hopps and Irving Blum, and the “beatnik” artists they groomed into a coterie of competitive, brilliant creators. Included in this film are interviews with Ed Moses, Billy Al Bengston, and Ed Ruscha.
