The Domestic Plane: New Perspectives on Tabletop Art Objects a meta-group exhibition in five chapters, organized by five curators, including more than seventy artists. On view thorugh January 13, 2019. Chapter exhibitions include: Objects Like Us; Jessi Reaves: Kitchen Arrangement; On Edge; Almost Everything on the Table; and Handheld. Presented in conjunction with his eight-page project in the upcoming The Domestic Plane publication, is Richard McGuire: The Way There and Back. On view through January 13, 2019.
Analia Segal: contra la pared, a solo exhibition of ther artist’s recent work that expands Segal’s interrogation of the boundaries between art, design, and architecture. On view through September 23, 2018.
Hands-on family art making workshops will take place in The Studio throughout the afternoon.
Use a variety of fine art and found materials to make a tabletop sculpture inspired by the works in The Domestic Plane; design an intricately patterned masterpiece influenced by David Adamo’s chalk floor in Objects Like Us; and more!
Food for purchase will be available from Hapa, the popular Stamford, Connecticut-based food truck, serving American street food and Asian-Pacific cuisine.
