DESCRIPTION:Free for all ages.\nThis event is offsite and will be held at Riverside Cemetery\, 496 Riverside St\, Waterbury\, CT 06078.\nJoin us at Riverside Cemetery to commemorate the 10th Anniversary of Fortune’s burial. An enslaved man whose remains were displayed in the Mattatuck Museum for years\, in 2013 Fortune was given a proper burial. Opening remarks\, recounting Fortune’s life and legacy\, blessings\, and a wreath laying will mark the occasion. Light refreshments to follow.\nAlthough the event is free\, people are encouraged to register.\nRegister Here
