Eve of Poetry in the Libraries Hill-Stead Museum Music Poetry Sunken Garden Festival

Join us for an intimate evening of poetry in our historic libraries.  Enjoy jazz music, wine and hors d’oeuvres, dessert and a poetry reading and book signing by Sue Ellen Thompson.  Sponsored by Hill-Stead Museum’s Live Poets Society.

Sue Ellen Thompson has received numerous awards, including the 1986 Samuel French Morse Prize, the 2003 Pablo Neruda Prize, and two Individual Artist’s Grants from the State of Connecticut. She is the author of five books; most recently They (Turning Point Books, 2014) and The Golden Hour (Autumn House, 2006), which was nominated for the Pulitzer Prize.
