This workshop will focus on creating intaglio prints using plastic plates. Specifically, high impact polystyrene. Traditional intaglio prints are made using cooper or zinc plates, this workshop will focus on using industrial plastic to create intaglio prints without the use of an etching solution. The emphasis will be on different colors and the ease of line quality that can be more varied because the material is so easy to carve into.
