An intensive one-day introduction to the pleasures of fume free, water miscible Akua soy-based inks. Review basic printmaking processes, and learn how Akua Inks can expand your options with their unique qualities. Learn to mix and modify Akua Inks for viscosity, rolling techniques, additive and reductive layers, overprinting, off-set transfers, trace monotype, ghost images, and chine collé. The transparency, color intensity, soap and water cleanup, and lack of toxic fumes make using Akua Intaglio Inks a liberating experience.
