Justin Baron Fornal is an explorer, a New York Emmy Award winning filmmaker, and a regular contributor to National Geographic. He recently embarked on an array of expeditions around the globe to track down vanishing textiles made from natural fibers and dyes. He has collected samples and stories of everything from Ugandan bark cloth to fabric-dyed purple using live snails. More locally, he has produced, hosted, and filmed a number of self-written series in which he voyages across the New York City region, uncovering the most exciting and unusual cuisines the Big City has to offer. His personal works include: Underbelly, Bronx Flavor, and Culinary Adventures.
