Join the Mattatuck Museum on Sunday, January 8, from 12:00–5:00 p.m. as we open our doors for free to the community. View the changing exhibitions on display, and selections from the permanent collection. Explore the region’s history through interactive displays in the History Exhibit and examine the intriguing Button Gallery featuring more than 10,000 buttons from all over the world.

At 1:00 p.m. children of all ages with their caregivers are invited to join a Museum Educator for a tour and participate in a special hands-on studio art activity, inspired by the exhibition Components: The Art of Robert Cottingham.

The second Sunday of every month is always free and open to the public from noon-5 p.m. Join us each month for a new theme, tour and family art activity.
