Join us to learn about one of the most incredible animals in our environment — the owl. Discover the owl species that call Connecticut home, and meet our non-releasable Barred Owl, Willow. We’ll call for local owls near the farm and on the trails to see whoooooo might be around. After our hike, we’ll head back to the Knobloch Family Farmhouse for refreshments. Each month, the Happy Hour Piano Series offers an eclectic mix of musical genres, showcasing the region’s wealth of talented pianists. Held on the fourth Fridays, from 5 to 7 pm, the piano series extends AMP’s exhibit hours. Admission is $6. A cash/credit bar offers wine, craft and domestic beer, and assorted beverages. American Mural Project Extends Its Family-Day Programming To Weekends throughout September

The American Mural Project (AMP) has extended its Family Day programming to weekends through September 29. Families can now participate in art activities any time during open hours. All art activities are included with admission. This month’s activities include Making Art with Fire: Fire Tiles and making Fire Prevention posters.
