DESCRIPTION:Join us for a private encore screening of the award-winning film The Artist & The Astronaut as we welcome our latest exhibition\, Pat Musick: Our Fragile Home to the Bendel Galleries. Nationally recognized sculptor and mixed media artist\, Pat Musick was married to Marine Corps Colonel Gerald P. (Jerry) Carr\, one of 19 Group 5 astronauts selected by NASA in 1966. He was Commander of the Skylab 4 84-day mission. Their life is the subject of this captivating documentary\, which had its Connecticut premiere here at the SM&NC this past May. The film’s writer & director\, Bill Muench and composer\, Todd Hobin\, will host a Q&A session afterward.\nArrive early for a complimentary light supper and an opportunity to view the exhibition prior to showtime.
