Whipple is a multi-award winning Connecticut-based artist with ties to Waterbury, who specializes in scratch-build, found-object dioramas inspired by the classic horror genre. American Mural Project Extends Its Family-Day Programming To Weekends throughout September

The American Mural Project (AMP) has extended its Family Day programming to weekends through September 29. Families can now participate in art activities any time during open hours. All art activities are included with admission. This month’s activities include Making Art with Fire: Fire Tiles and making Fire Prevention posters. Junior WILD! Keepers: Summer Session 1

Ages 11 – 13 Heckscher WILD! MEMBERS ONLY It’s our program’s 10th anniversary! Junior WILD! Keepers was established in 2015, with the opening of our Heckscher WILD! exotic animal exhibit. The Junior WILD! Keepers program gives participants hands-on experience in the care, feeding, and enrichment of our exotic teaching animals.
