Come learn about the art of garden design!
This garden design series in two parts explores the principles of garden design and the characteristics of popular garden styles. The series, led by Pat Sobosik, will cover design basics, design styles, and plant combinations.
The second workshop on Saturday, March 9 from 1:30 to 3 pm will review garden design basics and cover the principles and characteristics of woodland gardens and new natural styled and prairie gardens.
Specific plant pairings, examples of designs, and selected plant lists will be provided at each workshop.
About Pat Sabosik 
Pat Sabosik is the owner of Silver Spade Garden Design, LLC, and an advanced Master Gardener. She manages the UConn Master Gardener Pollinator Garden at the Hill-Stead Museum and is active in the Garden Club of New Haven. She is a frequent speaker on garden design, pollinator gardens, and native plants for gardens.
