Screaming Orphans is an all-sister Celtic folk and rock band from Donegal Ireland that combines their original compositions with a unique take on traditional Irish music. Having developed their own fusion of pop and rock, the band’s spine-tingling four-part harmony and mastery of their instruments results in a highly energized performance that takes audiences of all ages on an exhilarating and emotional musical journey.
As of this year Screaming Orphans has released 16 albums and has collaborated with Sinéad O’Connor, Peter Gabriel, Joni Mitchell, Baaba Maal and Afro Celt Sound System. The band continues to tour and play extensively across America, Canada and Europe.

This exhibition examines depictions of the American flag through 75 works by a diverse group of artists, beginning during WWI with Childe Hassam’s Italian Day, May 1918 and continuing to the present day, including a textile sculpture commissioned for the show from Maria de Los Angeles.
