Before the Museum opens to the public on March 30, visitors with sensory sensitivities are welcome to enjoy hands-on, drop-in activities in the Museum’s Cohen Education Wing, a cozy story nook in the Lockhart Lookout, and an interactive sensory soft space in the Museum’s Gale and Robert H. Lawrence, Jr. and Pamela and Robert Goergen Auditorium in addition to a social narrative, quiet spaces, and high contrast lighting.

Junior Curator: Spring Session 1

Ages 11 – 13 Meets at Heckscher WILD! Porch MEMBERS ONLY This program provides an overview of basic animal care and experiential learning on Heckscher Farm. The program includes a behind-the-scenes tour of the farm and various hands-on experiences, such as cleaning and feeding of animals.
