Before the Museum opens to the public on March 30, visitors with sensory sensitivities are welcome to enjoy hands-on, drop-in activities in the Museum’s Cohen Education Wing, a cozy story nook in the Lockhart Lookout, and an interactive sensory soft space in the Museum’s Gale and Robert H. Lawrence, Jr., and Pamela and Robert Goergen Auditorium in addition to a social narrative, quiet spaces, and high contrast lighting.

Noise reducing earmuffs will be available to borrow at the Education Desk in the Cohen Education Wing; please reserve a pair at info@brucemuseum.org.

Sensory Friendly Mornings at the Bruce Museum are generously supported by Art Bridges through a grant for the exhibition Blanche Lazzell: Becoming an American Modernist. If you cannot join us on March 30, there will be an additional Sensory Friendly Morning from 9:00-10:30am on April 18.
