One of our most popular annual Outdoor Adventures returns! Join us to see what lives in Poorhouse Brook. With nets and buckets, we’ll carefully catch (and later release) the many insects and invertebrates that live in the brook. If we get lucky, we’ll see some amphibians, fish, and crayfish too! This exhibition examines depictions of the American flag through 75 works by a diverse group of artists, beginning during WWI with Childe Hassam’s Italian Day, May 1918 and continuing to the present day, including a textile sculpture commissioned for the show from Maria de Los Angeles.
