Kids with an appetite for creative play will find oodles of fun-filled art adventures indoors and out at Dabble. Open-ended projects will spark their imagination, and kids will dive into various mediums using lots of tactile materials. Guided by their teaching artist, kids will create artwork—both outdoors and indoors—and experiment with many techniques. 

In this playful approach to art, kids will:

  • Discover their creativity through fun art processes.
  • Design, draw, paint, sculpt—and more. 
  • Let go and experiment using recycled materials.
  • Play in AMP’s outdoor nature playground. 
  • Build 3-D artworks of all shapes and sizes.
  • Imagine stories and incorporate creative writing.
  • Create original sculptures from natural materials.
  • Dabble in new artistic pursuits—with newfound friends. 

No experience is necessary. This is a small group program led by teaching artist Shana Bazelmans. Space is limited.

Animals for All: Caring for Critters

Tuesday, September 10 3:30 — 4:15 pm Ages 5+ This program provides an opportunity for hands-on work with our animals on Heckscher Farm for students with disabilities for whom our Junior Curator program environment may not be as successful.
