DESCRIPTION:This five-day\, tech-art program for kids 7–11\, in partnership with CT STEM Academy\, is all about hands-on fun. Kids will experiment\, invent\, and reimagine their creations using cutting-edge technology and art material at AMP’s art-enriched indoor and outdoor campus. Kids will: \n\nDive into the imaginative fun of creative engineering.\nGet tactile with tech: Ozobots\, Lego\, NASA resources\, and UBTECH Robotics.\nWork as a team\, individually\, and in pairs on special projects.\nDesign\, construct\, and launch their own rockets.\nEngage in a kid-friendly process that teaches Research & Development skills.\nGet cracking with coding—on screen and off. \nGain an appreciation of structured models and thinking outside of the box.\nBuild real robots and imaginative landscapes for them to play in.\nStage a friendly robot competition—and root for their favorites.\n\nAlong the way\, they’ll make friends\, gain new insights\, and develop science\, math\, art\, and engineering aptitudes that spark lifelong innovation. No experience is necessary.
