Farm & Forest All-Terrain 5K Run

Our exciting new benefit run explores the vast terrain and many wonders of the SM&NC’s extraordinary 118-acre site. Route will include paved paths throughout Heckscher Farm, scenic nature trails, wooden boardwalks and more. Rain or shine! Race starts promptly at 8:00am at the Knobloch Family Farmhouse Plaza. Spring Seed Sowing

Get a head start on your garden by sowing some seeds to take home! Discover what we grow in our Heckscher Farm garden and learn the best ways to start seeds by sowing some different vegetables to start your own garden at home. All materials provided. Junior Curator: Spring Session 1

Ages 11 – 13 Meets at Heckscher WILD! Porch This program provides an overview of basic animal care and experiential learning on Heckscher Farm. The program includes a behind-the-scenes tour of the farm and various hands-on experiences, such as cleaning and feeding of animals.
