Hang out with your friends, try a relaxing craft, get creative with graphic design, or chill on a beanbag! All teens aged 13-18 are welcome, with supplies and snacks provided. LAYERED COLOR WOODCUT/MONOTYPE

Examine the bold and direct capabilities of woodcut and monotype in combination with instructor Jim Lee. Print multiple layers of transparent inks and observe how images develop with lush color relationships and luminous surfaces. Participants will develop skills in color ink mixing, registration, printing, and stencil. Five Points Members get 10% off. On Thin Ice: Alaska’s Warming Wilderness transports visitors to the Arctic to confront the startling impacts of climate change. Remarkable animals from the Bruce’s natural history collections are paired with scale landscape models that showcase Alaska’s diverse ecosystem. The installation highlights both subtle and dramatic shifts occurring across the Alaskan landscape, bringing attention to the impact of rising temperatures.
