Valentine’s Vacation Fun: STEAM Hearts

Children and caregivers will learn about the principles of absorption and saturation through creative play in this STEAM-based activity. Conduct your own science experiment with heart shaped cut outs and colorful water to see which material absorbs the most water.

School is out and love is in! On February 14, 15, and 16 come to the Bruce for fun-filled, drop-in Valentine’s Day-themed vacation activities for children and their caregivers. Try your hand at printmaking and make unique cards for your friends and loved ones. Experiment with water and materials to your heart’s content. Younger visitors can get cozy during story time and fall in love with a dinosaur tale.

These activities do not require advanced registration and are free with general admission.
