Take a trip to visit artists, Matin Malikzada and Alibaba Awrang, at their home studios in New Milford, Connecticut. Currently on view at the Mattatuck Museum in Uprooted: From Afghanistan to Connecticut, Malikzada and Awrang will provide an intimate studio visit and demonstration for groups no larger than 6 people. After the studio visits, the artists and their families will host all in attendance for traditional Afghani refreshments.
Participants will have the opportunity to visit both artist’s creative spaces, see what they are currently working on, engage in conversation, and enjoy refreshments (included) together.
