Join Museum Educator Kate Wellen for a de-stressing workshop! Doodling can be done almost anywhere, anytime and is a relaxing, accessible way for anyone to be creative, even if they don’t feel they have artistic skills or experience. Doodles are made up of the basic elements of drawing: shape, line, pattern and shading. Many people have developed a repertoire of patterns and shapes that they reuse in their everyday doodling practices. This workshop will guide participants to create an intentionally composed ink drawing from repeated doodled patterns bringing mindfulness to an activity typically thought of as being mindless.
