This bi-weekly outdoor yoga series is part of the park’s Healthy Parks Healthy People program and is the perfect way to end your week!
Experience how the park can improve your physical and mental well being with yoga instructor Suzan Converse. Suzan has been practicing yoga for almost 40 years. When she discovered Amrit Yoga she knew that she wanted to devote her life to this unique yoga practice. Amrit Yoga is a meditative practice intended to still the mind as well as give you maximum physical benefits. She has a 400 hr certification as well as over 100 hrs training in Yoga for Back Care and Scoliosis. Suzan is able to teach to every student regardless of their level with modifications as needed. She also is a Thai Massage practitioner trained in Thailand 30 years ago. Suzan’s intention is to reach as many people as she can to reveal the inherent peace that is naturally within each of us.
