Youth Drawing 101
Gallery of the Louvre
Inspired by Samuel F.B. Morse’s “Gallery of the Louvre” & the Art of Invention, Youth Drawing 101 students will participate in a mini art history course taught by Museum staff in the galleries. In the studio, students will then practice the art styles and techniques represented in the Museum’s collection. After creating their own representation of a salon-style “wall,” participants will share their work with others by presenting a gallery talk.
Youth Drawing 101 is suitable for youth ages 11–13; preregistration is required.
This program is made possible through support from the Terra Foundation for American Art
