Sean Kelly is an award-winning illustrator and art director. He has produced thousands of illustrations for publications such as The Washington Post, The Wall Street Journal, Businessweek, Rolling Stone and The Atlantic, and his political commentary has appeared on the op-ed page of The New York Times. He recently designed and illustrated the book, Steven Colbert’s Midnight Confessions for Simon & Schuster.Sean has received honors from the Society of Illustrators, American Illustration and the Society of Publication Designers, and in 2008 the National Cartoonists Society gave him the award for Best Illustrator.
A graduate of Brown University who also studied at Rhode Island School of Design, Sean was a USC Annenberg/Getty Arts Journalism Fellow in 2012 and his Creativity Seminar has been presented at universities, corporations and the Columbia Journalism School.

Bruce Beginnings: Powerful Pollinators

Learn about bees through a story, a gallery tour through our permanent science exhibitions, and a hands-on craft. Children (ages 2.5-5) and their caregivers are encouraged to explore the Bruce’s collections and exhibitions through picture books and hands-on activities.
