PRINTMAKING TECHNIQUES: ETCHING, DRYPOINT & MEZZOTINT

Instructor Tony Kirk. This workshop offers a comprehensive introduction to intaglio printmaking techniques including etching, drypoint and mezzotint. Employ a variety of mark-making tools to create both linear and tonal imagery on a copper plate matrix. Designed to address all levels of experience, you will build a foundation in ink application, plate wiping and press operation as you create a series of prints.
