Stream Hunters

One of our annual favorites returns! Join us to glimpse life around and below the surface of Poorhouse Brook. From crayfish to caddisflies, we’ll search for the many amazing critters who make their living in the stream! Please come dressed to go into the stream. Nets provided. All attendees, including adults, must have a ticket. Limited to 16 participants. Ages 5 and up. Meets at Overbrook Nature Center. Hill-Stead Museum’s Annual Meeting 2024

REGISTER Join us for Hill-Stead Museum’s 2024 Annual Meeting The Annual Meeting is our opportunity to come together to recognize our dedicated team of volunteers and staff and reflect on the past year’s growth and accomplishments. Afterward, everyone is invited to join us for refreshments on our beautiful Garmany terrace. If you are able to join us in person, we ask that you please register.

Teen Time

$10 Per Person Hang out with your friends, try a relaxing craft, get creative with graphic design, or chill on a beanbag! All teens aged 13-18 are welcome, with supplies and snacks provided. Register Here

As the summer draws to a close, it’s time for our feathered friends to begin their annual migration! Drop by the Meadow anytime from 3 – 4:30pm to see what our resident hawkwatcher and Visitor Services Manager, Brian O’Toole has spotted, and do some bird-related crafts and activities! Members: FREE*  Non-Members: FREE w/Admission*   All Ages Wednesday, September 18 3 – 4:30 pm No need to register, just drop in!
