About the Musical: Working portrays diverse characters (including a steelworker, a teacher, a millworker, a waitress, a mason, and a corporate executive) who present their experiences in the workforce through dramatic scenes and musical numbers in various American music styles.
The play is based on Working: People Talk About What They Do All Day and How They Feel About What They Do (1974) by Studs Terkel. The musical is written by Stephen Schwartz and Nina Faso, with music by Stephen Schwartz, James Taylor, Craig Carnelia, and Lin Manuel Miranda.
No experience is necessary.
One Session: July 8–11 and July 15–18. 9am–3:30pm. Performances on July 18 and 19.
